Hester Wesley became a piranha wrangler after a short stint as a carnie running the Cyclone Rollercoaster at Coney Island. "I used to go to the Aquarium after work and realized I had a way with piranhas," says Hester.
In fact, Hester's nickname became the Pied Piranha Piper after a freak accident in which thousands of the razor toothed fish followed her out of a tank and onto dry land. "I didn't even realize what was happening at first," she responded. "After hanging out at Chaos in New York City, blood sucking feeding frenzies weren't all that unusual." Hester is all about high highs and low lows. Roller coasters will do that to you. So will snuggling up with your piranha pick of the night. Hester's motto? "Bite me."
