Dan, an accomplished and crafty guitarist, contributes lead guitar to Oblivious. If asked to name some of his guitar influences, he'll probably mention the likes of Neil Young and James Honeyman-Scott (The Pretenders).

Dan Kibler

Dan Kibler is an acclaimed singer and songwriter from Harrisburg, PA. Dan first hit the public's consciousness as the leader of the band El Kabong, whose first (and sadly, ONLY) release is constantly sought after and highly prized.

Following the breakup of El Kabong, Dan released two solo albums on Big Deal Records, Haunted (1996) and Capsule (1998). Both feature the rhythm section that graces Oblivious (Michael Giblin & Ronny Crawford), and Capsule was produced by the legendary Jeff Murphy (The Shoes).

Dan and Michael have worked together for many years, and are collaborating on Dan's third solo effort. Produced by Dan and Michael, this effort again features the Crawford / Giblin rhythm section, as well as several other notable musicians. Expect to see a release sometime in 2002.
